I was curious who owns the copyright because I was planning on sending the same article to other newspapers. Is this legal, or is it once it’s printed , it can no longer be reprinted even though I wrote it? If they print it in their newspaper, does the newspaper own it? Any advice would be great. Thanks!
Okay, so I’m 13 and I need some money. I want to be able to provide for myself, so my parents wont have to. Clothes; activity fees…etc. Is it possible to get a job at the local newspaper doing reviews, or something? I’ve been looking all night. I love to write, and I’ve already taken a class for newspaper articles.
I want to write for the newspaper because I am heading towards journalism but how do I write for it? I think theres a section called Backtalk, but how do I get in there as a teen? I don’t care about being paid. I want to get experience.
I want to write a few columns or something - advice columns, or just things from my point of view (and many other teens, im 15 yrs old). Do you think this is a good idea? do u have any suggestions on what my column or articles should be about? and do you think the newspaper would let a 15 yr old do this? how would I go about doing this?
