When writing an article and talking about the country your in - do you use “we” in referal to the country? eg a Japanese newspaper (over-biased in this case) talking about Pearl Harbour, should it be ‘we attacked’ or ‘Japan attacked’?
Ok…My task is to write two heavily biased newpaper reports on the attack on Pearl Harbour (during the time) - one from the view of the Americans and the other from the view of the Japanese. If Japan was successful, shouldn’t I make it ‘we’ to make them feel involved and as propaganda?

When writing a decimal whose value is between 0 and 1, is it preferred to put a 0 in front of the decimal point? For example, should I write: “The item measured .75 inches,” or “The item measured 0.75 inches.”? I am a math teacher, and I typically find it written with the leading zero in the textbooks, but don’t know if this is a rule in proper writing or not.

Is there a general rule, or a plan, e.g. writing notes then composing, etc.?

Ex: hair, fingerprints…
I need one final clue for the story im writing that will lead to the murderer i suspect.
