Writing A Newspaper Article

I need to write a newspaper article describing the causes of WW1 and the devastation left behind at its conclusion…

i need to have interview or quotations from imaginary civilians who were in the conflict…

describing what they say, felt and heard

And i don’t know where to start..

I am trying to start a small internet newspaper website
for arts & humanities

I’m a creative writer i get ideas from all sorts of place, friends, family and other random events in my life. what i want to know is where do others get ideas for stories , poetry and other random yet awesome writing because there is so much great writing out there and sharing ideas is a great way to get the creative juices flowing.

So where do you get ides from and how do they lead you to awesome writing that you can be proud of and share with others?
