I’m not trying to be racist. LOL so don’t kill me. But I’m supposed to do this article for the end of the year newspaper about teenage style and I’ve got everyone but Asians… so I just want to know what Asian girls and guys wear so I can complete my article.
I know they wear hoodies alot and they have those Anime haircuts but I need to know some specifics about them like if they wear any hats or necklaces or something like that.

For my humanities class, I need to attend a cultural event and write a paper on how it connects to culture. I have decided to go to a Hey Monday concert, but I am having trouble finding a topic to write about. I have considered writing about the increasing popularity of bands led by women, examine the fan base at the concert (like more guys or girls?), or analyzing the lyrics of a certain song (suggestions?) Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated!

When writing an article and talking about the country your in - do you use “we” in referal to the country? eg a Japanese newspaper (over-biased in this case) talking about Pearl Harbour, should it be ‘we attacked’ or ‘Japan attacked’?
Ok…My task is to write two heavily biased newpaper reports on the attack on Pearl Harbour (during the time) - one from the view of the Americans and the other from the view of the Japanese. If Japan was successful, shouldn’t I make it ‘we’ to make them feel involved and as propaganda?

So i am going to be in honors english next year, and i have to read To Kill a Mocking Bird over summer break and write a newpaper, entire newspaper, about the trial being held in the book. Not only the trial but other things going on in georgia in that time period. Any ideas on what to include?
Thanks a million!!!

is there a way to make the text in the columns stretch out to make it neat like in real newspapers?
If that makes any sense to you at all…

If I wanted to say in a newspaper article the event will from 8PM-11PM what is the AP style way of writing that?

My audience is the Greeks and we are asked to include all the sections of the newspaper. Please give me some ideas for articles!!

what makes a good newspaper article?
how does newspaper writing differ from, say, essay writing (really any type of writing for that matter)?

My highshool newspaper staff has been toying with the idea of switching from a tabloid style newspaper to some type of magazine. What are the pros and cons of doing a magazine in place of a newspaper or the advantages and disadvantages to staying with a newspaper format? Our main concerns are the cost of each and if we did do a magazine we’d prefer to do color, whereas if we stuck to a newspaper format we’d stay with black and white. The main reason we’re considering this is to help get more students interested in our publications. We feel that with a magazine we could have more creative freedom however with a newspaper we’d be keeping with tradition, so we have the tough decision to make as to whether or not we’d like to switch styles, and we’d like your help. Please include references!
